F. Randall Childers, Jr. has seen employer health plans as a business owner, agent/broker, consultant and third-party administrator. That range is what makes the analysis objective.

Background

Mr. Childers graduated from Hanover College with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 1983 and has worked in employee benefits since 1984.

He founded two third-party administration companies, and in July 2009 moved from the TPA business to private consulting. Over his career his work has involved more than 200 corporations, including Fortune 50 and Fortune 100 organizations.

He is a Certified Forensic Consultant (CFC) and a Diplomate of the American Board of Forensic Examiners (DABFE), specializing in self-funded health benefit plans, and has previously worked with companies and attorneys as a consulting expert and expert witness. Past involvement with the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors includes leadership roles at the state and local level.
